Day 01 :

Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Our private 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert begins with a pick-up from your chosen address in Fes by a professional driver/guide in a well-maintained & A/C mode of transport.

The first break will be in the charming city of Ifrane “The Switzerland Version City” due to the Alpine architecture of its buildings. Later, you will include another stop in the cedar forests of the Atlas Mountains, which host a colony of “Barbary Macaques”.

After lunch near Midelt, you will cross the spectacular Atlas Mountains, then the palm valley of Ziz before reaching the impressive Merzouga desert in the late afternoon. Spend the first night in a charming Riad.

Day 02 :

Explore Merzouga Desert & Camel Trek

After a refreshing breakfast in your Riad, you will spend most of the day exploring the desert area of Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dune field. The first stop will be at the nearby “Khetrras” aqueducts, which is an old technique of conducting a water stream through wells to convey water to the oasis.

Drive through the village of Merzouga to Khamlia, then have a tour around the dunes where to visit a local nomad family that lives in a tent. It is a highlight as you will learn about their unique way of life.

In the afternoon, you will go on a camel trek through the golden sand while watching the breathtaking view of the sunset. Take the time to enjoy the views with the possibility of sand boarding before heading to your luxury desert camp where you will spend the second night in your ensuite tent.

Day 03 :

Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

Today, you will wake up early to attend the sunrise view and have a healthy breakfast before meeting with your driver/guide for another day filled with unique experiences. Drive to the nearby city of Erfoud known for its fossil factories with an option to visit.

Stretch your legs in the impressive Todra Gorge (Canyon), then continue on the track further west to the Dades Valley where you will spend the third night in a charming hotel/Riad.

Day 04 :

Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate

You will have a guided tour around its alleyways and its Kasbahs (fortresses) walking up to enjoy the panoramic view from the top. Later, you will drive through the spectacular Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m).
