Highlights of the day in Fes include a tour through the Royal Palace and Jewish Quarter (Mellah). We begin at the Royal Palace’s golden gates before exploring the Mellah, where you’ll learn about Fes’s Jewish heritage.
From there we take you through the Old Medina: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the medina’s labyrinthine streets lead to iconic landmarks such as Al-Qarawiyyin University (one of the oldest universities in the world), the Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the Chouara Tanneries, where you can see traditional leather dyeing techniques.
We end the day at a fortress overlooking the city, offering stunning views of Fes’s medina.
At the end of the day, we drive back to the Ryad.
After a morning meal, we resume our tour with a drive to Ifrane, a picturesque town often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture and crisp climate.

After breakfast, we depart from Merzouga and travel through Rissani, a town with a market famous for dates and local crafts. We continue to the Todra Gorge, a canyon with towering limestone cliffs. There, we take a leisurely walk along the Todra River, surrounded by palm groves.
